Ingredients
- 12 cups Amritdhaan 1121 Basmati Rice
- 22 tbsp ghee
- 31.5 tsp cumin seeds
- 41 bay leaf
- 54 cups water
- 6Salt to taste
- 7Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions

Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes. Drain well.

Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add cumin seeds and bay leaf — let them splutter and turn fragrant.

Add the drained rice and gently sauté for 1-2 minutes, coating each grain with ghee.

Pour in water and salt. Bring to a rolling boil.

Cover tightly and cook on the lowest flame for 15 minutes. Do not open the lid.

Turn off heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
